Inside DPM

Pat Forbes, Project Executive, Newton. Pat brings with her over 25 years of experience in development, real estate, administrative services and construction and project management. She began her career at First Winthrop Corporation where she served as Assistant Vice President in the Construction and Design Group. While there, she managed their 140,000sf headquarters construction and relocation project, a $19M hotel renovation project, and many additional national construction projects. She also managed First Winthrop’s administrative services staff. After that, Pat served as Project Director for the Artery Business Committee during the Big Dig and served as Vice President of Real Estate for ChildrenFirst where she managed all aspects of the company’s development projects for 22 national locations. Most recently, she was Vice President of Development Services for Paradigm Properties in Boston where she provided strategic planning, consulting and project execution services for diverse third party non-profit clients. Pat has a BA from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania and is active in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, The Women’s Network Advisory Board and NEWIRE.

Marc Zawatsky, CCM, LEED AP, Project Executive. Marc Zawatsky has joined the Newton office as Project Executive. Marc will be focusing on the Rhode Island market and begins an 18 month full time assignment with Bryant University overseeing the design and construction of seven ten-bed townhouse style dormitories. Marc is LEED accredited, is a former BOCA certified building official for the town of Barrington, RI, possesses certifications in construction management, construction contracts administration, construction documents technology and has a construction supervisor’s license. Mark earned his Bachelor’s degree from the American University in Washington DC.

Carolyn Hern, Client Development Coordinator, Newton. Carolyn comes to Diversified's Newton office from the non-profit sector. Most recently, she worked at The Forsyth Institute doing development and event planning. Carolyn is a graduate of Fairfield University, having earned a B.A. in Communication and Marketing. She is an active member of IFMA.

Kenneth Lazar, RA, Senior Project Manager, Stamford. Ken has joined DPMCT to head up the Stamford location. He has over 35 years of experience in the successful management of design and construction projects for a number of Fortune 500 companies including Oracle Corporation, General Reinsurance, Olin Corporation, James River, Westinghouse Satellite Communications, Continental Can and others. Ken’s work has taken him from Toronto to Miami and from Boston to Dallas. He attended the University of Bridgeport and is a licensed Architect in the State of Connecticut.

Chris Neugebauer, Senior Project Manager, Newton. Prior to joining Diversified, Chris was Project Architect / Planner at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. While at Brigham, he managed many projects ranging from 1,000sf – 35,000sf from programming and design through construction and move-in. Prior that, Chris spent five years at Shepley Bullfinch as Space Planner and Interior Architect on projects at New England Medical Center and Rhode Island Children’s Hospital. He has also served as Project Manager at Harvard Business School on capital improvement and construction projects, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston as Project Manager on several projects in connection with the $450,000,000 master plan, and most recently at Beverly Hospital as a consultant on a variety of construction projects. Chris brings with him a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural Center and has Construction and Facilities certificates from Northeastern University. He is a member of the AIA, BSA and IFMA.

Geralyn Hoerauf, Project Manager, Hartford. Geralyn has twenty years of experience in architectural and interior design project management, primarily in the corporate, healthcare and higher education industries. Her work experience has included all phases of tenant improvement and interior design projects including contract development, contract administration, space programming and inventory, design standards development, management of the design and documentation process, and the coordination of project consultants and vendors. She is a registered architect in CT and has extensive experience in the planning, organization and scheduling of projects, as well as experience specifying, procuring and coordinating the installation of all types of contract furnishings, finishes, signage and accessories for a variety of commercial applications.

Scott Smith, Project Manager. Scott has recently joined DPM's Newton office as Project Manager and has over 20 years of experience in facilities management. Prior to joining Diversified, he worked as project manager on over 25 accounts performing furniture inventory management, furniture specification and installation, move planning & implementation and construction administration. Scott is currently working with the DPM team at Boston Medical Center.

Eileen Eagle, Assistant Project Manager, Hartford. Eileen has joined DPMCT in Hartford as Assistant Project Manager. Prior to joining Diversified, she was a Project Coordinator and Move Manager with Jones Lang LaSalle and also spent 5 years as Real Estate Coordinator for Advo systems in Windsor, CT. Eileen has a Bachelor’s degree from Le Tourneau University in Longview, Texas and has also completed a "mini” MBA program at UCONN. She is currently working on the Three Rivers Community College project in Norwich, CT.

Chris Francis, Assistant Project Manager, Hartford. Chris has joined DPMCT as Assistant Project Manager and brings us one year of construction and move management experience. Prior to joining Diversified, he served as Assistant Project Manager with a local General Contractor where he gained experience with site management of general construction projects. Chris earned his BA from the University of Connecticut.

Erin Murphy, Assistant Project Manager, Hartford. Erin joins our Hartford office as Assistant Project Manager and brings us one year of construction and move management experience. Prior to joining the team at Diversified, she worked for one of Connecticut’s premier Architectural firms where she assisted with the design of K-12 schools for new construction, move & renovation projects. Erin studied Interior Design at Teikyo Post University in Waterbury, CT. She is a leader in her ability to support projects and diplomatically make recommendations to senior management.
