DPM provided move management and FF&E coordination services for the new Cell and Genome Sciences Building on the campus of the University of Connecticut The project involved the relocation of approximately 200 people to a newly renovated, 85,900sf facility. Departments included in the move were: Stem Cell Core Lab, Center for Cell Analysis and Modeling (CCAM), Department of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Neuroscience, Technology Incubation Program and the UConn R&D program. Also included in the relocation were wet and dry labs, a vivarium facility, TIP facility, a very large laser table from the 5th floor and the CCAM data center.

DPM coordinated the relocation of all items through an RFP process with existing state of Connecticut on-call mover agreements as well as equipment vendor requirements for relocation and re-calibration as it related to the sensitive equipment. The project was broken into multiple phases to accommodate staff, lab work and equipment vendors.
