DCAMM: Worcester Recovery Ctr.

DPM was retained by DCAMM to facilitate the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital’s relocation into its brand new, 428,000 sf facility.  DPM was contracted to schedule, coordinate and supervise the delivery of 7500 pieces of new FF&E for the 320-bed
facility and worked closely with over 20 different vendors to successfully coordinate the transport of 475 types of product - more than 3 months’ worth of deliveries, including patient furniture and medical equipment. The deliveries took place in two phases with several months’ worth of furniture punch list activities in between. During that time, DPM also worked with the Department of Mental Health to develop and provide an asset-tagging system for all new furniture and equipment.

The final phase of the project included the relocation of staff and patients. Taking place over six weekdays, the moves were planned so each facility was fully functional when the patients were in residence.
